Ve is a carthage-born German interdisciplinary artist that spent most of her life livin in Kenya and Mauritius and is now based in Munich, Germany.
Her work and artistic style is strongly influenced by her academic background in sociology, as she works at the intersection of climate justice, womanism and cultural awareness.
In her multi-layered work she draws from her indian, east-african and german ancestry, filling in the blanks left behind by colonialism through deep academic research and her unique translation of re-discovered knowledge into visual art.
A visual storyteller, tinkerer and seeker of knowledge, she hopes to illuminate awareness about our shifting climate change and its connection to the role of women of color in our society.
Ve’s goal is to be an active and driving force in the field of eco-feminism and social activism and she wishes to spark contemporary conversation necessary for the wave of social change we are experiencing in our world today.
